  The client-server applications derived from VtWeb allow users to take advantage of the hardware infrastructure set up in VisioTerra’s premises : 6 servers, 1+ Po of disk space, 1 Gb/s symmetrical fibre optics. • Central Africa Forest Warning System

  CAFWS Within the framework of the GMES & Africa program, the SEFAC (Suivi et Évaluation des Forêts d’Afrique Centrale) consortium has developed the CAFWS (Central Africa Forest Warning System) platform for monitoring deforestation in sites provided by users. The monitoring is performed in near-real time, as soon as the Sentinel-1 radar satellite observations are made available by the European Space Agency (ESA).

  CAFWS
  Dans le cadre du programme GMES & Africa, le consortium SEFAC (Suivi et Évaluation des Forêts d’Afrique Centrale) a élaboré la plateforme CAFWS (Central Africa Forest Warning System) destinée à la surveillance de la déforestation dans des sites fournis par les utilisateurs. La surveillance est effectuée en temps quasi-réel, sitôt les observations des satellites radar Sentinel-1 sont mises à disposition par l’ESA (European Space Agency).
